Hi there, I've just bought a Primus A25 and I am experiencing frequent audio dropouts both in DirectSound and ASIO mode. They appear much more often when using ASIO mode and they don't seem to be related to the programs I use. I tried increasing the application priority and system performance in the ASIO control panel, but that didn't solve the problem. Also tried both the 2.8.40 and 2.8.26 x64 drivers to no avail. I've also just noticed that there's a blue led inside the Primus A25 that lights up every time there is a dropout. (!) My computer is an Intel Q6600 @ 2.4GHz + MSI P6N Diamond + 6GB DDR2 + Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Onboard SoundBlaster X-FI soundcard is disabled from BIOS and its drivers have been uninstalled. If you need additional information, just ask. Any ideas I can try? Thanks in advance! |
